Microsoft Internet Explorer Vulnerability
Tuesday 10th January 2006
Microsoft released a security bulletin describing a vulnerability in the component that Windows uses to display certain types of Web-embedded fonts.
By enticing one of your users to a malicious Web site, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute code on your user's computer, with your user's privileges.
In the worst case, the attacker could gain complete control of that PC. If you manage Windows machines, we recommend that you download, test and deploy Microsoft's patch as soon as possible.
